MSCA PhD fellow Kandeel Shafique invited to present the Biosens4PrecisionMastitis at the EuroScience Open Forum 2022 MSCA Satellite Event

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Unit, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, European Commission, invited MSCA PhD fellow Kandeel Shafique, and her PhD supervisor Beatriz Prieto Simón to attend the EuroScience Open Forum 2022 MSCA Satellite Event on 12 and 13 July in Leiden (Netherlands). The event brought together MSCA fellows, supervisors, coordinators and alumni to debate and contribute to priority topics for the research ecosystem, and to gather, interact and network. The agenda included panel discussions, practical workshops, a poster session, social events and networking opportunities. MSCA PhD fellow Kandeel Shafique’s poster presenting her work on developing novel biosensors for the early diagnosis of bovine mastitis, in the frame of our Biosens4PrecisionMastitis project, was selected to be included in the poster session. She did an excellent job attracting the attention of the event attendees, who asked lots of questions about the suitability of the targeted biomarkers, biosensor performance, etc.
